The majority of homes in Brisbane are 4+ bedrooms, unsuited to single people who need private and secure spaces to call home. In particular, there is a strong demand for older single people who want to stay in suburbs close to their families, but with the convenience of level access, low maintenance, affordable, secure access and giving independence, while not being isolated. There is also a significant demand for accommodation for essential workers like our valued nurses in the surrounding aged care facilities, and key workers in the expanding Port of Brisbane.

Verdelle is helping to meet that need by subdividing an old lot of land in a high-demand suburb and building two new homes, that hold 10 micro-apartments within. These fully furnished suites feature secure access for each resident, with their own compact kitchen, bedroom with ensuite and living room with direct access to their own private courtyard. For convenience, there is level access to the home, with a bus stop at the front door and only 150m walk to the train station. For lifestyle, the property is just 5 minutes to the beach and walk to shops. For workers, many employers are within walking distance, or under 5km to key employers like Port of Brisbane and Brisbane Airport, as well as emerging hubs for the Brisbane Olympics.
